The Characters
TAT: The "perfect son": polite to his parents, smart in school, and an
accomplished swimmer. But he keeps a secret from them about being
gay. His best friend is NAT, his role model -- but nothing more. He has
a crush on the college jock, EK.
EK: The college "jock": a popular boy who plays on his college's
basketball team and has a beauty-queen girlfriend, Darika. He lives in
fear and confusion. EK likes boys, and he is torn between wanting to
be "normal" and exploring his forbidden side.
NAT: The "queer of the universe": flamboyant, proud to be gay, and
open to everyone. His best friend is TAT, for whom he harbors a
secret love. NAT has shown TAT what it means to be openly gay in
today's world.
